This unusual wind chime is made of a small variety of bamboo - similar to that used for canes to support garden plants. The 12 chimes, which are therefore narrow in diameter, do not resonate upon contact with each other; rather they produce a gentle clacking sound.
Two small pieces of bamboo (the "beads") are threaded onto the nylon twine which supports each chime - one above and one below the crossed bamboo framework at the top.
An eyecatching item - ideal if your neighbours aren't wind chime friendly!
