The Chimes of Polaris is named for the North Star, which serves to mark Earth's celestial north pole. Because Polaris appears to be motionless, it is used in navigation and is associated with a steadfast nature.
This variant features 5 aluminium alloy chimes with a powder-coated verdigris finish. The top is of genuine hardwood (ash) as is the matching windcatcher. The striker is a flat wooden disk with bevelled edges.
